Constance has a fine arts degree from Indiana University. Her formal training continued at the Art Students League in NYC and culminated in the award of a Fellowship Grant to the Vermont Studio Center for "Emerging American Artists".
Constance describes her work as "passionate and driven".
Between portrait commissions, Constance creates contemporary figurative paintings that possess a lyrical, dreamlike quality. Her style of magical realism contains neo-classical elements, subliminal imagery and symbols that represent ancient mythology or personal storytelling.
