I'd like to thank everyone for all of your support over the past 3 years and helping make Hippie Hounds #1 in Indy 2 years in a row!! Hippie Hounds has been quite the learning experience. I originally wanteda mobile unit and that would have been a more enjoyable experience however I wouldnt have learned and taught others so many important lessons that have helped me grow and become aware of things I would have otherwise never experienced. As a result I will not be renewing my lease this spring. I will be closing the doors sometime late spring or early summer to focus more on why I started this business in the first place-D.O.G. Because it is almost impossible to be successful in this business and maintain the atmosphere and quality that I want for my clients as well as myself I am starting over in a brand new facility designed just for the well being of your pets and myself in mind. Look for the Doggie Zen Den in 2018. It will be a small 2500 sq ft. 10 run/suite boarding, daycare, grooming and training facility on 3 acres located near 31 and Southport Rd. This time I won't put myself last in attempts to please everyone else. I will only be grooming 3 days a week but I will have other groomers that want the same things I do for my clients. Holistic grooming is what I have always practiced and will continue to do so. More important to me than money is happy pets and me time. A busy salon is hectic, stressful, loud and uninviting not only to your dog but to myself and my staff. It takes the fun out of the job which makes it JUSTa JOB. I want peace and serenity and that is exactly what the Zen Den will have to offer. Contact information will be the same for now. Updates will be available as i move forward. Thanks again, Indy! Much Love!
They treat my old dog very well. Very kind and caring. He doesn't seem sore and stiff after being groomed by Toni. She let's him take breaks and works with him in a way that makes him more comfortable.
