Within a historical building over 100 years old, we set out to create a pub that resembled the great old pubs of England. With hardwood floors, dark wood furnishings, a copper tin ceiling, and an open, welcoming environment, The Georgetowner Draft House has become Fortville’s quintessential turn-of-the-century dining pub. Located on Main Street in the heart of Fortville, and less than five miles from popular Geist Reservoir, the Georgetowner is one of the area’s most popular watering holes.
The Georgetowner, with its one-of-a-kind venue and uncompromising taste, maintains a culture of hospitable surroundings, good food, good drink, and friendly conversation. Our decor and friendly staff evoke images of the great old pubs while our style of operating - our music, events, food, beverages - connects more so with the contemporary pubs and bars of today. We carry the NFL Sunday ticket, as well as the Big Ten Network, so that all of your favorite games can be seen at The Georgetowner.
Come on Thursdays or Sundays, the guy tending bar is excellent and very personable.
